Contaminant Reduction

Designed to reduce specified contaminants including chlorine, lead, mercury, turbidity, particulates, pesticides, certain VOCs, and other listed substances when used under appropriate operating conditions.

Installation

1. Locate the existing refrigerator filter.
2. Turn the old filter counterclockwise and remove it.
3. Insert the SS05 and turn clockwise until securely locked.
4. Flush approximately 4 gallons of water through the new filter before use.

The SS05 filter is stated as tested and certified by IAPMO R&T to NSF/ANSI 42 for chlorine reduction when used in the SS05 system, and to NSF/ANSI 372 for lead-free compliance.
